Hydro-Québec helps local businesses participate in the energy transition

For Hydro-Québec, Quebec’s energy transition is first and foremost a matter for local businesses. With the help of programs like Efficient Solutions and rate options like Demand Response Option (DR), the state-owned is developing new strategies to help businesses reduce their annual electricity consumption. The companies targeted by this transition come from all walks of life. With the help of their commercial delegates and partners, Hydro-Québec is supporting established companies in the industrial, institutional and community sectors, as well as a number of SMEs.

As part of this initiative, Hydro-Québec wanted to produce a series of videos showcasing the experience of companies that have taken part in their programs. Bien Joué was asked to produce a series of nine videos about these companies. Most of the series was produced in just over a month, requiring the team to be extremely flexible, moving quickly from one end of the province to the other. The resulting videos are part of a distinct aesthetic to the series as a whole, but are adapted to showcase the companies’ unique stories.
