Becoming a line worker at Hydro-Québec

In this series focusing on recruitment, Hydro-Québec wanted to highlight some of the career opportunities available with them. As part of the filming of this video, we went to meet a team of transmission line workers based in the Montérégie region. Their job is to perform maintenance on the lines that carry electricity from power stations to the substations that serve municipalities. They are also responsible for carrying out repairs when necessary. Line workers are often have to work in teams and climb to the top of pylons to replace parts.
