Aliments du Québec au menu presents the Prix restaurateur 2023

Quebec products are honored in the sixth edition of a contest that promotes the inclusion of local products on the menus of over 900 restaurants across the province. With this award, Aliments du Québec wishes to highlight the ingenious work done by restaurateurs to showcase local products both on the plate and in the glasses.

Among some fifteen outstanding establishments, the three finalists for the 2023 award were Microbrasserie Le Presbytère (Mauricie), Le Géraldine (Laurentides) and Le Hatley (Estrie). Le Géraldine took top honors in this year’s competition. For chef/owner Olivier Robillard, offering local cuisine is what the restaurant is all about.

For the second year running, Aliments du Québec invited us to go across the Province and meet not only the finalists, but also the local producers who, like these restaurateurs, have a deep love and sincere respect for local produce.
